Working Process
The fully automatic stripping machine completes the following steps in sequence:
- Cathode Receiving: Loaded cathodes lifted from cells are placed onto the input conveyor by crane or transfer system.
- Pre-Washing (optional): Residual electrolyte on cathode surface is washed off before stripping.
- Positioning & Alignment: Cathodes are aligned and positioned accurately for the stripping mechanism.
- Edge Separating: The edge of the deposited copper layer is separated from the cathode plate by mechanical wedges or rollers.
- Main Stripping: The copper sheet is fully separated from the permanent cathode plate by mechanical stripping mechanisms.
- Copper Sheet Stacking: Stripped copper sheets are stacked neatly to a set quantity for bundling or transfer.
- Cathode Return: Empty cathode plates are collected and returned to the cell loading side for the next cycle.
