The Heart of the Process: Precision Electrolysis
Electrorefining is an electrochemical process that purifies copper by selectively dissolving it from a crude anode and depositing it onto a pure cathode. Our plant is meticulously designed to optimize every parameter of this reaction.
Our technical design ensures:
Optimized Cell Geometry: Anodes and cathodes are spaced at a precise 100mm pitch within each cell to minimize energy consumption and short-circuiting.
Stable Electrolyte System: The electrolyte (CuSO₄-H₂SO₄) is maintained at a constant temperature of 62-65°C and continuously circulated to ensure uniform copper deposition and smooth cathode surface.
Superior Cathode Quality: The use of Permanent Stainless Steel Cathodes eliminates the variability of traditional starter sheets, resulting in consistently dense, high-purity cathode plates ideal for the market.
Advanced Electrolyte Management: The Key to Purity
The continuous removal of impurities from the circulating electrolyte is critical to achieving 99.99% purity. Our plant features a sophisticated, two-stage purification system.

Primary Copper Recovery Stage:
A controlled stream of electrolyte is diverted to dedicated cells.
Here, copper is electro-won onto cathodes, producing saleable cathode copper while lowering the copper ion concentration under controlled conditions.
Induced Impurity Removal Stage:
The electrolyte then flows to the impurity removal cells, where trace elements like Arsenic (As) and Antimony (Sb) are co-deposited with residual copper.
This process generates a sludge known as "Black Copper Powder", which is safely collected and processed, preventing impurity buildup in the main circuit.
